Hello, I need some help on how to download a file using a cron job. I need to download a zip file from an ftp address on a separate server from where the cron job will run, get the file and put it in a particular directory on the server. Ok, so I know i can use: wget -r > to get a webpage and save it. My question is, how would i use cron and wget to get a webpage on an hourly, or even minute basis, and then save them into a folder, zip and tarball it, and then keep adding to it for a review at a later date.
